Scientific achievements of children participating in the Yakutia International Science Fair were shown to the public today, July 7. Based on the results of voting on the website https://ysf.lensky-kray.ru/en / the best posters will be selected.

28 students from different regions of Russia spoke at the open event. Maxim Betyunsky, a student of Yakutsk School No. 7, came to the poster session with a group from the “Quantorium”. “This is my first time at such events, but I intend to look at the projects, I will definitely ask the guys more about the reports presented,” shared his impressions the visitor of the exhibition.

Roman Patrushev flew from Stavropol to present the topic he is studying at an international conference. A student from the Specialized Educational and Scientific Center of the North Caucasus Federal University (SUNC NCFU) is engaged in solving the problem of financial literacy among young people.

“One of the main mistakes of children and teenagers is that they do not know how to save, and this is one of the important skills that allows you to have a “safety cushion”. I am developing a school that will help not only raise the level of financial literacy, but also protect my income, and, in general, will contribute to improving the economy of our country,” Roman Patrushev notes.

Erchim Lukin from Berdigestyakh ulus Gymnasium named after V.V.Filippov studies the use of oats in horse nutrition. It is no coincidence that the young man became interested in this topic – the schoolboy helps his father in caring for horses.

“Our horses feed on hay, but in winter, when it is already drying out, the vitamin content in it is low. To help my father, I am studying the possibility of feeding horses with sprouted oats – it is rich in vitamins and useful elements,” the participant said.

Anastasia Donskaya, a student of the Specialized Educational and Scientific Center of NEFU, presented a report on the analysis of the work of the famous singer Lana del Rey. The girl likes her songs and has studied many musical compositions in order to trace how the performer uses allusions in her work.

“I plan to study how the singer influences the modern music industry and release a booklet with a textual analysis of 140 of her allusions,” the schoolgirl shares her plans.

YISF takes place from July 4 to July 9. More than 100 participants from 10 countries take part.
