On July 9, the VI International School Conference-Competition Yakutia International Science Fair (YISF) summed up, bringing together young researchers from 11 countries around the world, including Russia. This year, 160 scientific projects in four categories were presented to the expert jury. The participants demonstrated a high level of preparation, many of them have been conducting their research for several years and have achieved significant scientific results.

The conference was held in a hybrid format: some participants attended in person, while representatives from other regions of Russia and foreign countries joined online. The first stage of the competition included oral presentations in sections, where students defended their projects in front of experts. Despite the remote format, online participants also presented their work commendably and impressed the jury with the originality and depth of their research.

The second stage was a poster session, where participants presented their projects to a wide audience: experts, schoolchildren, and students of the Northeastern Federal University named after M.K. Ammosov. Conference guests could not only familiarize themselves with the projects but also vote for their favorite works. For online participants, all posters were placed on the YISF website, where public voting also took place.

At the end of the conference, the best projects in each direction were identified — both by the experts’ opinion and through public voting results. The Special Prize from the Target Fund for Future Generations was awarded to the team from the Suntarsky Polytechnic Boarding Lyceum. In the team competition, the victory was won by the team from the Specialized Educational and Scientific Center of the North-Eastern Federal University named after M.K.
